CHATEAU LE CONTE, AOP Saint Emilion Grand Cru, 2021

Located in the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation area, one of Bordeaux's benchmark vineyards. Known worldwide for its great wines, as well as for its historical and viticultural heritage, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Château Le Conte is the flagship of Hugues Laborde vineyards, offering elegant and classy wines, the perfect reflection of the appellation. This 5-hectare estate, currently transitioning to organic farming, has been taken over and rehabilitated by its current owners. From a state of near abandonment, this estate has regained its former splendor and grandeur.

Its wines mirror the estate itself—a renaissance of Saint-Émilion, blending modernity and tradition, a rising gem of the appellation, notably thanks to Hugues Laborde, the talented young manager of the estate. This cuvée, is complex and structured, aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. It is a red wine with a strong aging potential, precise, with Merlot expressing its best characteristics—freshness and finesse of the fruit.
