About

Claire and Renaud JEAN, owner-operators, began their winemaking journey in 1996 with a small property in Entre-deux-Mers. Eager to learn, they honed their skills on this Bordeaux Supérieur estate. In 2018, with over 20 years of experience, they decided to take their passion to the next level. They bought three properties in the prestigious Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Appellation, in three communes with three family interests, alongside a charming stone farmhouse located in the heart of the Saint-Sulpice-de-Faleyrens vineyards. This marked the creation of Château Milandre, a name inspired by the first names of their children: Cassandra, Philippine, and Maximilien. The crest featured on the bottles showcases three symbols, each representing one of their children: a Sun for the eldest, a horse for the youngest, and a feather for the artistic child of the family.
