Our very own champion! The winner of the Epicure d'Or 2021.

These sardines have reached adult size and are caught using bolinche (near the coast) in the Bay of Biscay, during winter. Larger and less fatty than the sardines we usually find, they are prepared by hand using the oldest method dating back to 1804 (the time of the "Penn Sardin"). First, they are salted, then dried for 3 days before being hand-packed, in glass jars. This method helps preserve all their flavor.

They are not fried, which makes them easier to digest.

The organic olive oil comes from a small mill in Navarre, south of Pamplonaad and is made from Empeltre variety olives.

No additives, no coloring, no other unnecessary ingredients!

A 270g jar is equivalent to approximately 2.5 standard cans. It's resealable and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 month after opening.
