About

The Château La Vieille Croix sits at the heart of Fronsac, where both domain and region share a very rich history. This small appellation of only 170 properties scattered along hillsides between the Dordogne and Isle rivers is one of the finest terroirs in the region. The quality of wine made here rivals that of its its bigger, more well-known neighbours Saint-Émilion and Pomerol, and is one of the many reasons behind the region’s nickname, La Belle Endormie or ‘The Sleeping Beauty’.
