Château Les Gravières de la Brandille - Bordeaux Supérieur AOC - Red wine

Frédéric Borderie

CEO / Owner at Vignobles Borderie EARL

Saint-Médard-de-Guizières, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France

About

The original estate of the family is nearly 20 ha and is located at Saint-Médard-de-Guizieres, a village in Isle Valley, the river which connects with the Dordogne River at Libourne. Here, the soils are a mix of clay-loam, sand-loam and as suggested by the name of the estate, gravels. This Bordeaux blend is a classic and accurate expression of a wine without oak: intense, soft and fine with an ability to be drunk or to be kept. Aged 2 to 3 years before bottling.
