Our Co-op has been based in Gironde since 1981, and we have chosen to source high-quality coffees from small producers that use organic methods. We roast these coffees using traditional slow-roasting methods. We determine a unique roasting curve for each origin, defined after a testing phase carried out by our master roaster. We are committed to long-term partnerships with farmers' organisations working to maintain family-run, local agriculture. We work directly with 31 partner cooperatives in 19 countries. Fair and stable prices enable these cooperatives to carry out their development projects. Our expertise in the organic and fair trade sectors has enabled us to develop the Terra Etica range of gourmet products, including chocolates, teas, sugars, spices and cereals, which showcase exceptional terroirs. We joined the cooperative movement by becoming members of our organisation. In July 2022, we opened the first fair trade and organic chocolate factory in the EU.
