About

The region, located 80 kilometers southeast of Bordeaux, is the largest wine-producing area for Bordeaux appellations. The grapes are hand-harvested to ensure the highest quality. After pressing, the juice undergoes a "settling" process in refrigerated tanks for a minimum of 48 hours, allowing for natural decanting. The clear juice is then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. After fermentation, the wine is extracted and filtered, resulting in what is known as the Base Wine. Next comes the foaming process, following the Champagne method. A second fermentation occurs in the bottle, where the base wine is combined with live yeast and sugar. This fermentation creates the characteristic bubbles. The wine is then aged for at least 12 months on slats, allowing the second fermentation to develop the necessary pressure for the perfect sparkling effect. Comtesse de Saint-Pey Crémant de Bordeaux Brut Blanc is characterized by its light, pale golden color and a delicate bouquet of floral aromas. On the palate, it is refreshing and expressive, with elegant, fine bubbles that provide a smooth and lively finish.
